This is mainly a webserver where I test small scripts and similar.
There is a well known aphorism that you should "always mount a scratch monkey" - this comes from an unfortunate incident in around 1979, which resulted in the demise of Mabel, the Swimming Wonder Monkey - more information here.
I was working at a domain registrar, and had written some (fairly poor) code which suggested other domains if the requested one is unavailable; I wanted to register scratchmonkey.com - as it was unavailable my code suggested that superficialinjurymonkey.com would be a good alternative - this struck me as wildly funny, and so this was born.
